College Assistant for Academic Assessment

baruchThe Director of Academic Assessment at Baruch College invites applications for a college assistant to work in collaboration to manage assessment activities, collect and organize assessment related data, and to assist with analysis of reports, activities and other assessment results. The assistant will work with the Director on activities related to assessment planning to achieve excellence in student learning outcomes through systemic course and program assessment. Projects will include assisting with assessments of the Writing Center and Student Academic Consulting Center practices’, gathering assessment data from academic departments for reporting purposes, and helping to analyze data for the college. Ideal candidates should have good organizational skills, experience with quantitative and qualitative research and presenting multiple types of data, and familiarity with SPSS, Excel, and web development platforms.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and current or recent enrollment in a graduate program; ability to work independently; flexible schedule; doctoral students are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a College Assistant position that will pay $20.00/hour for up to 20 hours per week through 8/31/2014.
