For over 15 years, the CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) has been leading online education in New York. The School’s growth has been remarkable, with twenty-four degrees launched since 2006. Enrollment has risen by more than 30% in the last four years to over 4,000 students in the credit-bearing programs. Thousands more are enrolled in non-degree and grant-funded workplace learning programs. Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Marketing and Digital Communications Manager, the Marketing Assistant for Social Media/College Assistant will:

• Brainstorm campaigns with the marketing team
• Create social media posts
• Create social videos
• Research social media tools and tactics
• Schedule social media posts in collaboration with the editorial team
• Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
• Demonstrated social media campaign experience
• Demonstrated experience with TikTok
• Strong computer skills required; specifically, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and the ability to work on both PC and Mac platforms required
• Working knowledge of graphic design and video editing programs a plus
• Demonstrated organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding and complex work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Occasional night and weekend hours may be required

Salary Range: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Hours: 20 hours per week
