Cataloging Internship Opportunity at the Archive of Contemporary Music NYC

The Archive of Contemporary Music is looking for Catalogers

Internship description and duties:

Interns will receive training that enables them to catalog CDs, Vinyl LPs, or Books in our File Maker Pro Database.

We depend directly on our interns and allow them a great deal of hands-on experience and responsibility.

8 Hour commitment per/week. One Semester.

Qualification requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree; some library experience and/or graduate-level library classes.
  • Good interpersonal skills, responsible, reliable, detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to handle delicate and valuable materials with care
  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for Music, Books, or Visual Arts is a positive.
