Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Academic Director of Psychology Programs, the Psychology Program Assistant/College Assistant will support administrative and academic operations for the BA and MA programs and will perform the following duties:

• Serve as informed in-office admissions contact for prospective students and assist with recruitment activities
• Develop program communications to students and faculty
• Coordinate program web and print material updates
• Assist with record-keeping for the program related to tracking student progress toward degree, updating faculty files, and maintaining program document repositories
• Participate in end-of-semester academic review and perform needed follow-up with student records
• Support program development, student service delivery, outcome evaluation and instructor/student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and other projects as assigned
• Assist with coordination of events targeted to the BA and MA students

Preferred Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience providing administrative support in a higher education setting
• Ability to be detail oriented, address concurrent issues and adapt easily to changing priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel; ability to easily learn new software.
• Strong writing, reporting, editing, and oral communication skills.

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Hours: up to 20 hours per week

Note: The successful candidate will begin on August 12, 2024 working during the fall and spring terms, with possible reappointment for the following fiscal year.
